This is a blog about a woman’s journey through a daily yoga practice. On February 27, 2009 after spending months “meaning” to eat better and exercise more, I got the idea for a little project for myself. I would do yoga, for at least 5 minutes a day and then blog about it – every day for 365 days straight and see what came of it. This is that idea put into existence. I’d love for you to join me along the way. I’m sure I’ll need all the support I can get.
Please leave a comment if you’d like. I love reading them all and appreciate your interest.

Good work. I hope you are enjoying blogging. It can get addictive, like yoga I guess….

After uploading my first posts in my newly born blog, I did a search for other yoga bloggers and found yours. Daily yoga is indeed a tonic. I practice daily in the morning; in life, it’s often simpler to go “all or nothing” (daily rather than every day or two) when developing healthy habits and ultimately a lifestyle.
We’ve both posted on the Wii Fit! I found the sports games fun and challenging but disliked the yoga exercises (my post didn’t even mention the yoga!) because I don’t think of asanas as static (the machine measures every motion, as if you must be stock still).
Please check my blog, which is new but quickly growing: http://www.yogaspy.wordpress.com.
Best,

Hi
I was hoping we could use your ’scribing’ talent for our website.
http://www.thebestshowsyourenotwatching.com/
You blogged about Fareed Zakaria which is one of our featured “BSwatch” shows. We’re looking to round up a few people who can occasionally
contribute perspective (via an article/blog) on the shows – maybe a recent episode, future direction, plot shortcomings etc.
What’s in it for you?
Primarily a larger audience back channeled to your blog. We don’t pay but the site has a lot of promise and we’re pretty excited about getting it off the ground. Let me know what you think
Thanks

Hi,
I ran across your website while on a hair blog called Natural Sunshine.com from a friend there. I’m having the same problem you were having before you stared this blog. Wanting to work out, do yoga, some weight training, etc. I just don’t have the motivation to be consistent with it.

Hi,
Thanks for stopping by. I think it’s so weird that you found a link to my blog on a natural hair site. I think I’ve done one or two posts about that and that’s all. It’s cool though. I’m happy to hear there are branches out there I didn’t know about. As for getting started, I don’t have anything more novel than cliches – the journey of 1000 miles begins with one step. Just do it.
The thing that made a difference for me in getting started was just declaring a specific date – March 1st. It was a few days from when I got the idea, which gave me time to get in my procrastination, but not so far off that it wasn’t eminent. That’s what I know works for me. Do what works for you and just set yourself up to win.
I mean, my gosh, I set a goal of doing 5 minutes of yoga and a one line blog post – that’s setting yourself up to win. It’s evolved into more than that, but that was my first step. I wish you the very best on your journey.
